Lire un roman de Patrick Deville, Peste & Choléra, qui relate la vie aventureuse du scientifique Alexandre Yersin découvreur du bacille de la peste à Hong Kong, auquel il donnera son nom, Yersinia Pestis. Le rencontrer en Suisse, le suivre en Allemagne, puis en France, puis médecin en 1890 sur un bateau des Messageries Maritimes de Bordeaux, reliant Marseille à l'Extrême Orient. Et découvrir que l'acronyme POSH vaut beaucoup mieux qu'un surnom de femme de footballeur, anglais de surcroît.(même si le British Dictionary dit que cette signification romanesque n'a aucun fondement historique)
